Dr Sarah Skelton
Clinical Psychologist
Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council
Throughout her training and professional career, across a range of healthcare and educational settings, Sarah has supported individuals identifying as neurodivergent
Beginning her education in psychology at Ulster University, Coleraine, Sarah completed an MSc in Applied Psychology at Trinity College, Dublin and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University, Belfast
Pursuing a career in clinical psychology, Sarah was privileged to support neurodivergent children in educational settings, in addition to working for Positive Futures, a charity providing supported living for Autistic adults, with the aim to help individuals thrive within their home and community
Sarah’s experience also extends to several years working in the NHS, most recently working therapeutically with children and young people in the care system and within paediatrics, supporting children and their families manage physical illness
Sarah is passionate about working in a strengths based, relational and neuro-affirmative way, helping individuals feel safe and comfortable to explore their identity
