Consultation €260

If you self-identify as, or otherwise believe you are Autistic, this is an opportunity to meet with your psychologist for an exploratory, one-hour conversation. A safe space to discuss the ‘What if…?’ and ‘Does this mean…?’ type questions you may have. In conversation with your psychologist, you can discuss your experience and work through whether this aligns with Autistic experience. You can also explore the potential pros and cons of formal identification. After this exploratory conversation, there is no expectation or requirement to pursue our Collaborative Autistic Identification

The price of Consultation reflects the time and consideration spent discussing your experience and following up with a summary document outlining areas in which your experience may align with Autistic experience. However, this is not an official document confirming Autistic identity and cannot be used for any purposes requiring formal Autistic identification. While useful for exploration, a Consultation does not provide enough scope to explore all the relevant aspects of your life for official identification. It is only after full Collaborative Autistic Identification, that official documentation confirming your Autistic identity is provided

It is not necessary nor required to have a Consultation before Identification, though it is possible to transition from Consultation to Identification, without additional waiting

If you ultimately decide to go ahead with Identification, the Consultation fee is deducted from the Identification fee

I was so unsure at the beginning whether I was doing the right thing or taking the right steps, but being able to talk through my thoughts and worries during the consultation session was incredibly helpful. This helped me clarify whether I wanted to proceed with the full assessment and how I would feel about the potential outcome of this process. Never once was I left wondering what was going to happen next or where I stood; not only was I provided with an abundance of information and resources, it was always ensured that any adaptations or supports I needed were taken care of, without hassle or fuss.
