Sandra is a Clinical Psychologist and Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
Sandra completed a Bsc.(Hons) Psychology from Ulster University, a Masters in Psychological Science from University College Dublin. Sandra obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DPsychSc) from the University of Galway.
Sandra currently works for the HSE in a Lifespan Primary Care Psychology service. Her clinical work is shaped by her experience supporting individuals across the lifespan and has a strong commitment to neuroaffirmative care. She is passionate about creating a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their Autistic and ADHD experiences and gain a deeper understanding of themselves through active collaboration.
As part of her clinical training, Sandra completed placements in adult mental health, child disability and primary care services supporting Autistic and ADHD children and adults. Sandra also completed her specialist placement in a hospital based neurology service completing psychological assessments and providing psychological interventions to help manage the psychological and emotional impact of chronic conditions.
Sandra brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to her work and has experience supporting autistic individuals across a range of settings and life contexts. She values collaboration and tailors each assessment to reflect the unique experiences and needs of the individual.
Sandra is pleased to be part of The Adult Autism and ADHD Practice, where she has the opportunity to collaborate closely with Autistic and ADHD adults as they navigate through the identification process.
