Initially trained as an MD (Lomonosov Moscow State University, 2008), for fourteen years Olga has been working as a medical doctor, specialising in intensive care and neurology. Her background includes neurointensive care; inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation; psychosomatics; and heading an interdisciplinary centre for neurodivergent people. Looking to expand her focus beyond the predominantly biological medical approach, she trained in neuropsychology and psychotherapy. In 2021, she received an MSc in Counselling Psychology and psychological therapy became her main professional focus. Currently, she does not run a medical practice but uses her experience to provide the best possible psychological care

Olga combines clinical work with neuroscience research. In 2012, she received a PhD degree in Medicine. Her studies explore the links between the feeling of one’s own body (interoception), emotional processing and brain networks, with the goal of developing technological and psychological therapies supporting mental well-being
